After high school, I chose service over college and enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. It continues to be an honor to be a lifelong member of a group that is full of tradition, loyalty, integrity and history. I was able to travel the world and see places that most people will never see in a lifetime. This taught me the value of life and how doing things for others is extremely rewarding. Today, I continue to serve our veterans and the community as an active member of the American Legion.
When I left active military service, I entered into a career in the construction industry. As a construction manager, I was involved in and oversaw the construction of hundreds of new homes and many commercial buildings. I have seen dirt lots be transformed into magnificent homes for families to live out their dreams. When the housing market went in the wrong direction, I decided it was time for a change so I went back to school and earned a Bachelor’s degree from SOSU and went into retail where I moved up quick to manage a Walgreens pharmacy here in Durant. This proved, once again how much I love working with people from all walks of life. To me, becoming a real estate agent seemed like a logical step. It combines my love of people with my love of serving and helping them reach their dreams.
I have been married for 26 years to a wonderful woman who is a special education teacher at Durant High School. We have 3 children and 6 grandchildren. My wife and I love to spend our spare time walking through new houses under construction and discussing all aspects of placement of rooms to what things could look like. I have taught her to see past what is not there and look at the possibilities.
I believe in the power of possibilities and although I am new to being a real estate agent, I believe that I can help make your dreams become your reality. I will always give you my very best and make your experience as free from stress as possible. Whether you are a first-time home buyer or it is just time for a change, please call me and let me guide you through the process.
